"Big Hair Revolution" was born from the desire to get back to the great 70's and 80's music that has seen a huge resurgence as of late. Even the younger crowd is really discovering the great artists from back then; Zeppelin, Cream, the Cars, Journey, Foreigner, and so on. They do some newer stuff too 'cuz they love it, but stick mostly to faithfully reproducing the excellent music from the "Big Hair" era... "Big Hair Revolution" consists of Keyboardist Kelly Porter and Guitarist/Vocalist Dirk Swartz, and between the two of them, they sound like any big band they want! Kelly plays the drums, bass, and anything else needed through his keyboards, allowing them to control the volume at any level at any musical event, no getting blown out or having to scream to hold a conversation, and Dirk is able to imitate vocalists from many genres, giving them versatility and wide appeal that most bands just don't have...
